Nearly a Football Team!!!

Tilda is pictured here about a week before her puppies made their appearance, she was getting very uncomfortable, I did suspect that she may have been having more than 5 (this is what her scan showed) but never thought she had 8 in there!! They were born yesterday morning (4th January), all were good birth weights and mum is being fantastic. We thought she had done at 7 puppies, but after a check up at the vets (they said they couldn't feel any more puppies) they gave her an Oxytocin injection to help get rid of any left over placentas. When I got home and lifted her out of the car, there was another puppy! We have 5 boys and 3 girls, all gaining weight nicely. I will post more pictures as they grow & start to explore.
