Skye in Waiting

Skye has now had 2 scans to check if she is in whelp (expecting puppies), the first showed there were 2 puppies but one was much smaller than the other, so the vet advised a 2nd scan, this showed that the small one had been absorbed and just one healthy puppy remained. We have booked her in for a 3rd scan on 20th October to check all if going well, the puppy is due around 7/11/2020 but Skye will be having a caesarian birth to make sure that the puppy is delivered safely. We are doing all we can to monitor this puppy as sadly Skye's first puppy was a single puppy and died in the womb due to a long labour.

UPDATE; Skye had another scan on Tuesday 20/10/2020 and puppy is growing well, so all seems on track, her caesarian is booked for 6/11/2020 so fingers crossed all goes well.
